She's 8 and its great

Matt's 8 and we couldn't be more excited about getting baptised. She is such a wonderful blessing in out home and we just love her to pieces.

Grac at the pumkin patch

Grac first kindergarten field trip was to the pumpkin patch. I think she switched pumpkins 6 times and we finally settled on a half orange and half green rectangle shaped pumpkin. She also got to ride on a bus which was very exciting.

Curly Curly Matty

Matt got a perm and she looks so cute with it curly. It took a long time and she got tired but the minute she seen her hair she was smiling from ear to ear.

Tender Moments

This is what I saw the 2nd day of Kindergarten Big Sis taking care of little Sis. Its moments like this that remind me how much I love being a mom.

Preschool Started

I thought I would shed a tear when I took him but ever since the kids started school he has asked all day long when does he get to go. So when that bliss full morning came I took him both of us smiling holding hands and he went just like a big boy. I am so proud of the strides this little man has made this year. I love you Pey

And it happened All Peterson children are in school and the house is empty except for me for a couple of hours 3 times a week YEAH YEAH YEAH.

Kindergarten

Grac and I walked into school today holding hands tightly, nervous and excited. Mom not ready to let go to kindergarten and Grac not sure about going not that she didn't want to be there just nervous to. But she did and had a great day and looking forward to tomorrow although I was informed that I was walking her in again.

I don't know why it is so hard to let them go to kindergarten I have cried 3 out of the 4 I must be a wimp. I think it is hard seeing them grow up.

Perfect Smile

As much I have come to love and enjoy this smile it was time to make it perfect again.



And here he is pearly whites and all. He wasn't to sure about all of this and it took me and the assistant to hold him down, he is one tough kid but I love him

Back to School

Matt 2nd Grade

Ab 5th

Wy 7th

Our kids are growing up so fast I can't believe I have a 7th grader let alone soon to be teenager. We were excited at least I was to get back to school and a schedule. This leaves 2 at home but not for long I can't talk about it until it happens but Pey goes to Preschool 3 days a week and Grac starts Kindergarten you can probably put the pieces together but I don't dare say it out loud for fear it won't happen.

Hair Cut

Grac cut her hair I didn't get a before picture but it was down to her bum. She looks really cute with her short hair. I think I was more nervous then she was Grac has always had long hair.

Metal Mouth

Wy had to get braces he was not to impressed I think they made him look older he only has to wear them for 18 to months. This is what happens when you get your moms small mouth and your dads big teeth.

Hands on the Farm

We went to Hands on the farm at the fair with Granny, Papa, Megan, and Ry the kids had lots of fun together even Papa got into it working on the farm.

Fair 2011

Grac took Reserve on her chicken she was so excited to receive a big blue ribbon.


I know not a good picture but this is Wy's Steer he placed 3rd in showmanship in his age group.

Ab showed a steer also this year she placed 2nd in showman ship in her age group.

Wy took Sevier County with his pig the year.

Ab was going to show a sheep this year but a week before the fair the Lamb broke its leg. She till got to participate in the showman ship and did great for her first year.

Swimming Lessons

Matt is our fish she loves to swim, play, jump flip in the water. She is ready for swim team next year.

This was Grac second year of swim lesson and she has turned into a little fish as well. She loves the water and did a great job.

Pey on the other hand was terrified of the water but after our trip to California he started to warm up. He did an awesome job and has loved swimming lessons.

Count Peyton

Who would have guessed this picture could have ever been possible. Mat and Pey missing their front teeth together. Mat 7 Pey 4

Pey has had quite the weekend. When we were in California Pey fell on a Great white Shark (a.k.a a urinal which makes me sick so I stick to the shark story). Hit is front teeth and knocked them loose and split open his gums. It healed up great then about 2 week later he and another little boy ran into each other yes reopening it and knocking the teeth loose again. This time one of his front teeth was turning gray but both front teeth were not tighten up again. So off to the dentist we go decided to give it another 2 weeks. Well Pey and his cousin bumped into each other and yes it was his front teeth plus 1 on each side of his middle teeth. So Saturday they pulled all 4. 2 were broke in half 1 cracked and the other one we were not quite sure but didn't think it would make it they had to knock him out so we decided to pull all 4 instead of waiting to see if the 1 would heal fearing we would just have to go through it all over again. In a couple weeks he will get some fake teeth to help hold the opening for his permanent teeth which should come in oh in a few years. I know some of you are thinking who bumps their front teeth 3 times in 6 weeks well Steve likes to blame it on the McBride in him and he is probably right.

Blessings in all of this that the last bump happened the weekend the pediatric dentist was coming to town. And Pey is doing great.

Peyton had a Birthday

Happy Birthday Pey he is 4. Pey has changed and grown up so much and is excited to start preschool this fall.

Huntington Beach

The next 4 days we spent at Huntington Beach playing in the sand and ride some waves.
Don't you just love the goggles.

Last day at the beach and the only day the sun came out. But we had fun anyways. We went to Huntington beach, and Crescent Bay, and an aquarium were the kids got to touch sharks it was fun.
