Pixy PJ's

As you can tell Pixy came and I do believe I wore out at least two of them. Another tradition at our house is Christmas Eve everyone gets to sleep together. They did not wake up on Christmas morning until 6:45 and by the time they convinced there dad to get up it was about 7:15 before we got to go see what Santa had brought.

We finish day off with a Christmas Eve Party!! We eat Soup in Bread Bowls have the Kids share their recital pieces. When everyone goes home we deliver neighborhood gifts look at lights and hope pixy comes while we are gone to leave new pj's. Hopefully we have wore these children out.

Christmas Tree Lane

Ab, Mat, and Grac danced in Christmas Tree Lane this year and they all did an awesome job I was very proud of them. I wasn't sure Grac was going to go out on the big stage she told me that several times during the week, but she was one of the cutest dancers out there. Several people told me, so it is just not my opinion. Matty and Ab just keep improving every year and they both love dance and getting dressed up (even Ab does she let me put make-up on her this year Shocker).

2 Cheers and a Howl for the Gorilla Basketball Team

Pey didn't like his ears. Grac wasn't sure she wanted to dress up, when we went trick or treaty she asked if she could just carry her custom. As for Matt and Abb they were excited for the Halloween parties and candy. Wy I don't think he would have dressed up if it hadn't been for the cool costume from Aunt Tara. Halloween is not our favorite holiday but we survived it and have tons of candy to show for it.

Matt's 6

Matt turned six on Monday she told us it was her real live Birthday!!!
She is such a happy fun person to be around I just love her. She loves to laugh and make others smile. She enjoys school her favorite thing about school is learning to read new books. Matt also enjoys playing with Grac they are the best of friends.

Carving Pumkins

The date is wrong on my camera we carved pumpkins on Monday.
We grew all these pumpkins in the garden this year and the kids have enjoyed watching them grow and get bigger.

I have to share some FUNNIES about Matty and Kindergarten

At dinner Matty told us there was a Jason Sharp in her class, and that his head looks just like ours its not sharp or anything.

She has made a couple of new friends at school and wants to invite them over I said well you need to find out their lasts names. So today she came home and said Hannah's last name is Steel they don't steel or anything that is just their last name.

She is my girl that takes things literally and I think it is so funny. She really enjoys going to school and is becoming a very good reader but I do get a kick out of her.

The Living Planet Aquarium

On Friday Steve had meetings in Salt Lake so we pulled the kids of school and went to the Aquarium. It was pretty cool and Wy and Ab enjoyed feeding the Sting Rays which are the highlight of the trip.

Gooseberry

Abby and the little group that we were assigned to.

This was a class on trees. Abby really enjoyed the classes mostly because I think she enjoys learning. And second she was excited to be at gooseberry.

I was able to go to Gooseberry with Abby, it was fun to be able to spend one on one time with her. When I attended Gooseberry many moons ago I was terrified of Annie Bangs. I hid in my moms coat and cried and then slept under neath her I hated it. Abby on the other hand is not as big as a chicken she chased Annie Bangs, I stood on a bench and watched the excitement just waiting for Abby to return back to me I figured she knew where I was. When she did return she thought it was funny (funny I am thinking) she was not scared not nervous nothing she went right to sleep that night as if nothing had happened. I wish I was as brave as she was when I was her age.

We slept in a cabin with about 10 other moms and about 14 girls. While waiting for the lights to go out Abby and I laid there and giggled at the snoring that was going on, little did I know it was going to get worse and cause me not to sleep I never knew women could snore like that. There was 4 of them that snored one right after anther what was I suppose to do-- Excuse me dear could you please roll over. Next time I will bring ear plugs or Ipod.

Overall it was good experience and I enjoyed the time with Abby

This year Abby and Matty are playing Soccer. Matty is enjoying it she waves and flashes a smile to us as she runs up and down the field, she is just there to have fun. As for Abby she is learning positions and footwork her team is called the Destroyers and so far it is holding true. I love to watch them play and having fun.

What can I say..... we have a good time when we get together

On the 24th Matty Started Kindergarten. Yes I cried, I feel like Mat has been with me forever and she is such a big helper. While Mat was at school Grac looked at her photo album over and over and over those 2 are best of friends and I think it is going to be an adjustment for both of them.

After about 3 days of school and playing soccer Mat got in the van after school plopped down in her seat and said I am tired about 3 times I guess Kindergarten is a lot of hard work.



Where ever Mat goes we go so its off to Kindergarten too. They are going to miss her.

Where did the summer go?

School Started for Wyatt and Abby on August 19th. Wyatt is in 5th and Abby is in 3rd. Wyatt was very nervous to start school and as for Abby I think she thought its about time she wanted to attend summer school she really enjoys going to school and learning. As for Wy he just hates change and gets to nervous but after the first day he was excited to be back to.

Old Faithful

We all thought Old Faithful was really cool it was worth the wait. We really enjoyed YellowStone and hope to go back in a couple of years it was a lot of fun

YellowStone here we come

We went on VACATION to YellowStone for a couple of days and then down to Jackson Hole for a day we had a lot of fun and didn't want to come home. This was our little kabin at a KOA just outside of West YellowStone it was so much fun and really clean. ( I took bug spray, bug bombs, lysol wipes, can of lysol prepared to clean I only used the can of lysol that's how clean it was-- yes I am afraid of germs) The kids thought the kabin was so cool it had 2 sets of bunkbeds and one queen it was just perfect for our family.

We were hiking on this trail and it was the end of the day and tired. Steven and the kids were a little bit in head of me ( I was taken in my surroundings) And they walked right past this buffalo in the picture. It was kind of funny how close the buffalo was and they didn't notice it until I yelled at them.

This mighty buffalo caused a major back up. I took this as we drove by in the van it was pretty close to the road but really cool to see.

Hot pots were really cool to see the bright blues and green colors were amazing.

Bear World

On our way to Yellowstone we stoped at Bear World. It was really cool and the kids enjoyed seeing all the animals and riding the rides. It was a good thing we stoped because we would have never seen a bear on our trip.

Matty cut 10 inches off and donated it to Locks of Love she was so excited to get a new hair cut. I think it made her look older. Now she is ready to start kindergarten, that's if her mother lets her go.

West Mountain

We have had a busy crazy summer but we finally made it up on the Steve's favorite mountain, the West mountain we had fun playing around, hiking, and looking for deer. Now we just need to make it to Fish Lake.

Wyatt made the All-Star team this year. He has worked really hard and has become an awesome baseball player. He really enjoyed playing on this team and had some awesome coaches to help him improve and boost his self confidence. It was a lot of fun to watch his games even though sometimes the score and him up to bat would put my nerves to the test. We had a lot of fun traveling and watching him play ball.

Peyton's 2

My baby is 2 years old!!! He just wanted to sit on his presents I think being the last child he is afraid someone will take them. We are glad he decided to sneak in on us all though sometimes I think he is going to drive me crazy I can't image life with out him, he keeps me going and on my toes. When Wyatt was little I bought this saying that said

My son...often makes me crazy, causes me to laugh 'til I cry...then loves me to death.

I thought at the time it fit Wyatt to a T but I know now that I bought it for Peyton. He loves to be outside, eats most anything, is a Mommy's boy, and still enjoys a good cry every now and then I guess he just has to get it off his chest. We love this little guy Happy Birthday Peyton
