Today we started off with a sacrament meeting at the hotel then we headed of to Gettysburg. Which is where the Civil War was fought. They were fighting to free slaves and to keep our nation together.

John Dent took our picture his wife name is Jill and they live in Lewiston which is where we lived when Wy was born.

My Birthday was fun although I didn't get German Choc Cake I was able to keep it a secret until lunch where they sang to me then at dinner at a pizza restaurant they sang again I was pretty embarrassed.

Yes I got a couple of new shirts for the trip I thought that was pretty good eye considering I had my jacket on.

To start off today we toured the White House but they would not let you take pictures so we had to leave the camera on the bus.

2nd we went to Mount Vernon. This is where President George Washington lived. It is a farm that sits on the Potomac River it was really cool to tour.

Next we went to the Holocaust, which is a memorial museum about the Jews.

This was our plane we flew on I was really nervous. Taking off wasn't so bad and the flight was kind of long, but the landing was really bumpy because the wind was blowing in Washington. Mom handled the landing better than dad he was squeezing his eyes shut and griping the arm rests.


We got to go on a Illuminating night tour of Washington DC. We stopped at several places one being the U.S. Capital.

Miss you already

Ab had a Birthday

Ab had a birthday this week and turned 10. Ab is our sports girl who loves anything that has to do with a ball exspecially basketball. This year I put a couple of trick candles on her cake and it was so funny in her words that is impossible for a candle to relight. Ab is a special part of our family and we don't know what we would do with out her Love you Ab Happy Birhtday!!!!

Basketball

Abby has been playing basketball one of her favorite sports. It has been fun watching her play and learn new skills.

Wrestling

Wy has been wrestling for the past couple of months and loves it. This year he took 5th at state and he did an awesome job. I can't believe how fast he is growing up
